The Knaresborough Post, in a review of a concert given at Knaresborough, said
"The quality of the singing, the light and shade they brought to the songs they sang was wonderful. The larger number of tenors and basses than usually seen in an amateur choir gave body to their songs."
“I AM so glad I came” and “I haven’t heard such a good choir in ages” were just two of the favourable comments heard at the end of the recent concert in Gracious Street Methodist Church.

Wesley Singers Charity Concert Raises £2231
The Wesley Singers gave their 25th Anniversary Concert on Saturday 22 May 2010 at St Andrew’s Methodist Church in Pudsey. Despite it being the warmest evening of the year, there was a capacity audience in the church and chairs had to be brought into the foyer to accommodate the overflow. The choir was on top form and their guests, the Yorkshire Evening Post Brass, gave excellent support. The joint items with choir and band proved to be audience favourites, and Jerusalem at the end of the concert almost did 'lift the roof'. A total of £2231 was raised for Martin House Children’s Hospice. The 25th Anniversary celebrations continued later in the year with a service on Sunday, 17th October at Lidgett Park Methodist Church, Roundhay. The service was led by Revd Dr Liz Smith, Chair of the District and the preacher was the Revd Brian Hoare, past President of Conference. The retiring collection was also in aid of Martin House and the service was followed by afternoon tea.
